Volunteers at the 2024 SIVB Meeting

PlantGENE Volunteer Opportunities are open to members and offer a chance to collaborate on various projects and events.

Different projects require a variety of skills, experience, technical knowledge, and time commitment.

There is something for everyone!

PlantGENE Teams

Teams are collaborative groups working on short or long-term projects.

Each project can be led by a PlantGENE member volunteer, Project Coordinator Aimee Malzahn, or a Steering Committee Member. The Team will work together to achieve the project goals..

The PlantGENE Blog will cover a variety of topics including methods, recent advances in plant sciences, tips and tricks, and resources. Articles can be original writings or summaries. Topics will be generated by team members and community input.

The Blog Team has started a podcast! We need writers, editors, and interviewers.
